Choreographer Johnny Tri Nguyen was the Vietnamese American actor, martial artist, action choreographer and stuntman. He was mainly active in Vietnamese film industry.
Johnny Tri Nguyen was born in 16th January 1974 at Saigon in Vietnam in Nguyen. His family had immigrated to the United States of the America when he was at the age of 9 years.
Johnny Tri Nguyen had competed as the martial artist on the U.S. national team. After he transitioned into the career as the stuntman in the Hollywood that was worked on the films like as Spider-Man 2 and Jarhead.
Then, Johnny Tri Nguyen was returned to the Vietnam. In 2007, he was also starred in ‘The Rebel’ movie. This movie was directed by his brother Charlie Nguyen. This locally produced film was a huge success in Vietnam.
Johnny Tri Nguyen followed the movie ‘The Rebel’ by starring in a steady stream of hit films. Many of these films were directed by his brother. One of these films was ‘Clash’ in the year 2009.
After that action choreographer Johnny Tri Nguyen “De Mai tinh (2010) and Teo Em (2013)” movies are broke the box office records at the time of the release.
For the reason of controversial scenes, Vietnamese censor team was banned the action film “Bui Doi Cho Lon” in 2013.
Johnny Tri Nguyen had done the supporting roles in the major films such as Tony Jaa’s Thailand movie “Tom Yum Goong”, in India 7aum Arivu and the Irumbu Kuthirai movie.
