Hyderabad city is the capital of Telangana state, in the country of India. Hyderabad is one of the largest cities in the country of India. It occupies 605 km2 (250 sq miles) on Deccan Plateau along with the banks of the Musi River in northern part Southern India.

Hyderabad city was founded in 1951 by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah and expanded the capital to Golconda in Fort.
Hyderabad was served as the imperial capital of the Asaf Jahi’s from1769 to 1948. The city housed the British Residency and the cantonment until the Indian independence in1947. Hyderabad was taken over by the Indian Union in the year of 1948. According to the States Reorganization Act of 1956, Hyderabad was made the capital of newly formed Andhra Pradesh state.
Andhra Pradesh was split to form the state of Telangana in the year 2014. Hyderabad will become the joint capital of both the states till 2024. The antiques of the Qutb Shahi and the Nizam eras were remains visible till now.
The Charminar had come to symbolize the city by the end of the Mughal Empire. The distinctive culture that was from the union of the local and the migrated artisans, handicraft, Painting, dialect, jewelers, literature and clothing were prominent still today.
The city was listed as the creative city of the gastronomy by the UNESCO. The Telugu film industry is the second largest film producing city in the country as of 2012.
Hyderabad was well known for the pearl industry and was nicknamed the City of Pearls until 19th century. Golconda was the main center of diamond trade in the world.
The traditional bazaars will always remain open in the city. Hyderabad was attracted the major Indian research, educational, manufacturing and the financial institutions. The city was emerged as an Indian hub of the Pharmaceuticals and the biotechnology since the year 1990’s.
A hardware park and special economic zones dedicated to information technology have been formed by Hyderabad Hi-Tech City. It was encouraged the leading multinational companies to set up the operations in the Hyderabad.
Hyderabad was emerged as the foremost center of the culture in the India with the decline of the Mughal Empire. The migration of the performing artists to the city was particularly from the north and the south Indian languages, cultures and the religions.
It was since led to a co-existence of the Hindu and the Muslim traditions. Both Telugu and Urdu are the official languages of Telangana state.
